I guess you have noticed that Dear Diary has been non-existent over the last few weeks! This is due to a combination of personal factors , such as holidays and my parents Diamond (that's 60 years!) Wedding Anniversary, which have taken up my weekends.

However, although I haven't been present, the club still of course still operates and I have just received a mail from John Bottomley (the Club Secretary) requesting that I post the following - which of course I am more than happy to do:

Hi Jim,

Could you please post a thank you note on our website for me?

Yesterday a bunch of the lads all clubbed together to get my very recalcitrant Star Ranger in the air - it was what club is all about! I'd especially like to thank, SP, Bob Barclay, Andy Harrison, Andy Ling, Mike Vinsun, Colin MacFarland, and my lad Chris.

Also we found a channel #61 crystal in the ground - JR type with a grey holder around it.
